Continued competition final, Sunday

In late June, was held in Nitra prime festival ROCK ME FEST 2009. The contest began on 23 June 2009 in Frankie Rock Club and ended with the final culmination of 28 June 2009 Club New Bakery. It was organized by ARS STUDIO (private elementary art school in Nitra).
At the festival played a number of bands (from amateur to underperformance to the quality of the band). The biggest mistake toaster was the inclusion of competition toaster groups. At one stage the band competed absolutely different genres. Another minus was the high entry (learn about it to spot - because the internet was not even mentioned). Vote buying (of which štebotalo in musical circles) belonged to other weaknesses of the competition. Strong plus point was to support young bands and noble idea of the festival.
On the first day of the festival, the film group (no stopping, Jamestown, Párovské Heads, morning toaster sickness, Phobia, Broken, 69 Seconds, here and there, New Wind). Of the 23 June thus progressed New Wind, Párovské toaster head and later winning band Jamestown.
The following day was pop rock, punk and alternative. Played here Ars Rock, Extensa, toaster Everlong, Out of Fashion, Neverback, choice login Sheep (Andrejground), a depreciation of the cake and the face to face. Progressed to the finals Neverback pop, alternative choice toaster login Sheep and stoner-rock Extensa.
On the last day of the first round they played the band Pray For Me, Smart Set, Bridge, Cock Tale, apothecia, Underdose, Project PB, and SCO galore. toaster They got to the finals galore, grunge-rock and experimental Underdose-death metal apothecia toaster (favorite band in Metro Manila metal circles).
Continued competition final, Sunday's resignation (June 28, 2009) Club New Bakery. The winners have become Nitrianski Jamestown. Second place went to stoner-rock band Extensa (review on musicola) and three belonged to the group Underdose (review on perny.blog.sme.sk). At the forefront of the group were placed choice login Sheep (Andrejground) and pop-rock Neverback.

Hi all, I am very pleased that our article on the fest also appeared on this website in addition to other amounts. As the main organizer, I would like to react to some comments, really only at the level of explanation, perhaps no one does not take bad :-) 1 When the casting bands into individual days, we took into account the age, not the style, but as an idea in the future it is not bad. Another thing is that the band at the last minute overthrew the days to the next, so we went out to meet, resulting in a slight scrambling 2 Every entry received a band before they signed up rules and conditions of competition, where the price of admission mentioned, these are also downloadable http://www.rockmefest.sk, I admit that there we could give transparent 3 Amount of input we seek to significantly reduce next year, although this type of festival is quite a costly toaster affair, especially when the price of the first 1000 so ... Anyway total number of 834 tickets sold for the festival to consider a success. People who bought a ticket had quite a big chance to win several times its value (mp3 player in the semifinals, the finals laptop) So about as much in terms of my reactions are happy to welcome other ideas, insights, ideas.
