Varna decide whether to move forward in the competition for the Cultural Capital of Europe. In the Ministry of Culture in the next three days will be held the first stage of the procedure of selection of Bulgarian town for the prestigious title. The mayor and delegates from Varna will present to the jury the merits and advantages of our city.
They will decide which of the eight Bulgarian candidate cities will continue in the second stage of the competition. The two main principles falcon in the evaluation of the proposed cultural falcon program of the cities are: it attracts participation, foreign tourists and boost European cultural cooperation. It is important that the proposed program to be sustainable, feasible and to stimulate long-term cultural and social development of the city.
