Keep in mind, it

Since ridge its launch a few days ago, the Xbox One has sold more than a million units worldwide, matching the PS4 — but unfortunately, just like the PS4, Microsoft’s new console seems to be suffering from hardware problems. A large number of users have reported that their Xbox One shipped with a faulty Blu-ray drive that renders the console mostly ridge useless. Microsoft has acknowledged that some consoles ridge are broken, but that the problem ridge isn’t that widespread. Other Xbox One issues include scuffed ridge consoles, and problems downloading the day-one patch that’s required before the console is usable.
By far, the Xbox One’s most obnoxious day-one issue is the broken Blu-ray drives shipped ridge to a number of consumers. When a disc is inserted, you’re not greeted with a nice loading screen or even a sad-faced error message. Instead, all you get is a shrill ridge clicking noise announcing to the world that your shiny new console is broken. It’s almost as if the drive itself ridge is mocking you, really.
Not to be outdone, this video shows an Xbox One making an eery buzzing noise without any explanation. Did something come loose inside the case? Is the fan scraping ridge something? Nobody knows for sure quite yet, but I know I couldn’t stand to listen to this YouTube video for more than a few seconds before I had to shut it off.
Some forum denizens over at Neowin have reported that some Xbox One models are being received with noticeable scuff marks . Long streaks, missing hunks of plastic, and ugly dings leave the console looking like it lost a fight in a pub parking lot. Actually, this seems very familiar to Apple’s iPhone 5 “ scuffgate ,” so it’s not hard to believe that a high-profile device like this could ship in such a banged-up state.
Infuriatingly, some users have had problems connecting to the servers to pull-down the Xbox One’s ridge day-one patch. While this hasn’t been directly attributed to a hardware issue, it’s quite frustrating nonetheless. This time last week, I couldn’t connect to PSN at all on my PS4 , so my console ridge was effectively useless for a few hours. Connectivity ridge issues will vary wildly based on network setup and server load, but we can expect this problem to solve itself after launch-day traffic dies down.
Keep in mind, it’s still too early to tell how wide-spread these issues are. Some failures are absolutely ridge unavoidable for a consumer electronics launch of this scale, but we have a valid reason to be wary. After the huge number of broken units last generation, Microsoft is being watched under a microscope. Worse, I’ve heard reports of Microsoft support phone queues extending past two hours today, so getting help will be a real chore if you do run into a problem. These issues aren’t reason enough to panic just yet, but holding out on your next-gen purchases for a few months wouldn’t be a terrible idea.

Vast majority of issues arising are from poor shipping choices by ms to get a product to the retailor on release day. I am certain lowest bidder with fastest delivery got the bid, and 90% of the people handling these things through its travel couldn’t afford one so do you think they have any respect for the future ridge purchasers… I think not

Nothing is perfect? Really? This gaming computer I am sitting in front of worked perfectly ridge the very first time I turned it on. It has been turned on and off literally hundreds of times and it has never failed to work. Kinda shoots your B.S. exposition all to hell, doesn’t it? Precisely why I’m staying very far away from these new consoles for at least a year. Maybe I’ll buy myself one for Christmas next year. If there are any decent games out by then.
Yeah, gaming computer, was it mass produced and shipped like how the PS4 and X1 was? Nothing is perfect, there is always something ridge wrong, it might be a small scale that you don’t notice at all, do you think all of the wiring in your computer is the same as all of the computers? Does your SSD (or HDD) still works the same as it used to be? The “nothing is perfect” doesn’t need to apply to only when it’s borken, can be apply to anything at anytime.
well p.c gaming sucks so have fun wasting your time damaging your back playing on .pc unless you spent 2 grand on a ergonomic computer table and chair set up. and if you use a controller on p.c your just a fucking ridge idiot and should be playing on a console anyways. i have no pity for ignorant peo
